A day in the life

5:45 am Alarm goes off *hits snooze*

6:00 am Alarm goes off *hits snooze*

6:15 am Alaram goes off *hits snooze*

6:28 am *looks at alarm and curses for hitting snooze and not being an adult by getting up on time.

6:29 am – 6:45 am Shower (additional 7 minutes if son is home)

6:46 am – 7:05 am Clothes, make-up, and hair (additional 10 minutes if son is home because I have to chase him to diaper him/retrieve my hairbrush)

7:06 am – 7:15 am Hurridly start car, make coffee, hastily gather items needed for the day (and hoping to not forget anything) Runs out the door. (Time adjustment ???? And kisses baby bye-bye)

7:15 am – 7:50 am Drive to work (somehow make it to work on time despite son’s attempt at making me late and not leaving until 7:25 am)

8:00 am – 4:30 pm Work day at the Library (too many tasks to list in one post)

4:30 pm – 5:10 pm Drive home

5:11 pm – ??? Check mail, cook/rummage for dinner, text/Skype friends, ponder sleep and wonder how long insomnia will persist that night, surf Internet and read random articles/pintrest/facebook/blog, play with son (if it’s my week with him), eventually pass out.

Yep, you’re a busy lady and mom. I like his picture. Cute little guy. Be you enjoy working at the library. Do you ever have time to read when you get home?

    • Yes, I am often very busy. He is adorable, and I do love to work at my Library. I get some time to read. Whether I have my son or not reading time usually falls in the 5:15 pm – ???? catagory. It just depends on what else is going on. Sometimes we will cuddle and read together, or he will watch Micky Mouse Club House while I read. Othertimes I read after he falls asleep, during my lunch break at work, or on the weekends when I have some downtime (which isn’t often), but I try to make time to read something everyday, even if it is just a blog or an article.
