You are never stuck where you are. You always have the option of walking away. Your feet are not encased in cement or struggling against quicksand, we’re just afraid they are. Being walked away from doesn’t glue you to the spot looking after them. No, the funny thing about legs is they have the ability to turn around and walk away too. You’re never left behind. You simply choose to walk in a different direction.
And I know this choice is not always easy or simple, but often it is necessary. You’re going to want to run after them, or run a different way than what you should because you’re confused. Maybe even you walked away first and now the other person is trying to catch up, but once someone walks away the likelihood of walking together again is minuscule at best. I’m not saying it is impossible, but walking on your own is going to create a stronger, more resilient you.
Hold yourself up and keep walking. You’re not alone. You have friends to help you, and God always walks beside you.
