Hi! I’m Christina. Welcome to my blog! I hope it’s as inspirational to read as it was to write. I am a mom to a beautiful little boy and a sweet little girl, wife, small town librarian, and Christian.
I had a few life-altering events happen in 2014; I nearly divorced my husband, experienced being a single mom for a while, and now I’m putting my life back together. My husband and I are stitching our marriage one day at a time.
I’m still trying to get the hang of it. One day at a time, but I’m taking up life with coffee in one hand.. I work hard and I’m very passionate about life. Sometimes life will knock the wind from your lungs, but you just have to remember that you are free to keep breathing.
Here are the starring characters of my life:
This handsome man is my starring role, Xander Cole. He is the biggest joy and pride in my life and I am so blessed to be his mommy. There is nothing I love more than taking care of him, loving him, and making him laugh until he begs me to stop. He’s growing faster than my eyes can believe, and I don’t want to miss a minute of it! Taking care of him by myself can be difficult at times, but thankfully I have several amazing people in my life to help me. Xander inspires me to grow and learn every day.
I’m not sure who this crazy lady is…..okay, just kidding, this is me! I am a college graduate with a Bachelor of Art in English and pursuing a Masters in Library Information Science. I’m a full-time Librarian in a rural public library, full-time mommy to a growing little boy, and perpetual student of life. I’ve been thrown from the horse (both literally and figuratively), but I get back on every time. If you have any questions or opinions just let me know! I’m an open book.
This is one of the most amazing women on the planet. Ariana has been a friend of mine for several years, but as the days continue to pass we’ve found that we’ve become more like sisters. She has been there for at some of my darkest times, and is one of the few people I feel I can truly trust to watch Xander. I know if he is with her I have nothing to worry about, and he loves her like an auntie! Ariana has a great sense of humor, is always making people laugh and smile (in a good way!), and exemplifies a not only the ethics and morals of an upstanding individual, but also a Godly lady. Ariana is truly a treasure! She may be young, but she is wiser than many people twice her age.
